NickCery retain Sea Survival Training with PERENCO RIO DEL REY.

NickCery International Safety Training Plc, A subsidiary of NickCery Conglomerate, Inc. base in 6250 West Park Dr. (Suite 218) Houston, Texas 77057 USA, just trained another group of PERENCO RIO DEL REY in Sea Survival.

PERENCO RIO DEL REY is a prominent independent Oil & Gas Company operating in 13 countries across the globe. In their own words, they are “an independent oil & gas company, with a balanced portfolio of producing fields, development projects and exploration prospects. Our success lies in the skill and mindset of our people, constantly adapting to new challenges.” From the ‘horse’s own mouth’ you can already infer correctly that its onshore and offshore operations are of enviable span and quality.

Perenco’s reputation for complete adherence to safety regulations is part of its commitment to excellence; a reputation that distinguishes it from its peers in leaps and bounds, in Africa and beyond, on its onshore and offshore installations as well as other operations.

Sometime last year, based on NickCery’s extensive experience in providing Sea Survival training for offshore and maritime personnel, saw it awarded a contract by Perenco Rio Del Rey to train 500 of its personnel in Sea Survival. So far, we are half way with 200 trained already and more training currently going on at our modern Multipurpose On/Offshore, Maritime Training & Accommodation Centre, based in Victoria (Limbe), the South West Region of the Republic of Cameroon. Suffice it to note that the aforementioned center is the first in Africa, with a celebrated distinction in terms of the amenities, and the quality and warmth of the ancillary services.

About  Sea Survival (A genuine lifesaver)

Cruising is one of the safest leisure sporting activities, and 99.9% of those afloat will never use their Life raft. However, if you are part of the unlucky 0.1% your chances of survival will be greatly increased if you understand how to use the equipment and how to help yourself.

It is a well-proven fact that, in the event of an emergency at sea, people with training are more likely to survive.

An important part of the course is a practical session in a swimming pool.Experience firsthand the problems of entering an uncooperative Life raft and assisting others while fully kitted out in wet weather gear and a life jacket.

This course covered; Life rafts and the equipment they contain, survival techniques, the design of lifejackets, medical aspects of sea survival, search and rescue techniques.

After listening to delegate's feedback, Mola Chris YOK, President & Chief Executive Officer of NickCery International Safety Training Plc, remarked: “Our vision, here at NickCery is to take Health, Safety and Environment, to an enviable future. We can only achieve this by hiring quality and well experienced staffs. I am confident in the trainers. I believe in their output. We are grateful to PERENCO as we believe with their continual mutual relationship, we can guarantee good health to our employees, commendable safety and responsible engagement with our environment”.
